The VFC Samurai Edge is the latest AEG coming from VFC. Externally the gun is designed beautifully with billet style receivers and even sports silver Samurai motif on the lower receiver. In conjunction with the eye catching receiver sets, the gun comes with a fluted outer barrel and a slimline designed M-Lok compatible rail with sufficient picatinny rail slots on the 12 o'clock position up front for mounting lights or lasers. The Samurai Edge features the VFC designed QRS Stock and uses the same series magazines giving it a modern and sleek look. As a final touch, the gun shows off a red "lightning" trigger.
Internally, the VFC Avalon Samurai EDGE has the VFC ECS gearbox with the GATE ASTER system installed. In turn, this instantly makes this AEG one of the top AEGs out of the box. GATE ASTER features programmable electronics, like a trigger proximity sensor that allows you to fine-tune 250 trigger sensitivity settings, a binary trigger function as a basic setup, an optical gear cam sensor that supports all types of gears, and allows you to program the guns firing mode from semi/full auto to semi/burst for example. Adding to this impressive list, the Samurai EDGE comes standard with Maple Leaf internals such as the hop-up bucking and a precision inner barrel allowing for your groupings to be tighter and have an extended range capability. Lastly, the Samurai EDGE comes Deans (T-Plugs) ready.
