BCA Custom Lens Protector (CNC Cut Polycarbonate Lens)

Overview: 

Ensure the longevity of your optics and lights. This protector combines a resilient PLA frame with a shatter-resistant 1/8" (3.2mm) thick Polycarbonate lens, effectively shielding them from direct BB impacts.

Compatibility:

Be sure to review the "Important Fitment Guide" section of this description to ensure that the installation goes as smoothly as possible. All CLPs and replacement lenses are final sale items. 

Designed with Ease of Maintenance in Mind:

For maintenance, the protective lens can be replaced by unscrewing the outer cap; no tool is needed. 

Why BCA Doesn't Use Acrylic Like A Lot Of Other Manufacturers Do?

Unlike stiff, brittle materials like glass or acrylic, polycarbonate is inherently flexible and ductile. This makes it the ideal choice for shielding your valuable equipment, all while providing superior optical clarity.

BCA Custom Lens Protector (BCA CLP) Ordering Guide:

To guarantee a perfect fit, we offer the BCA CLP in two specialised configurations: 

O-Ring Type (Stock code: OR-XX, for Red Dot Sights, Flashlights and Similar Equipments)

O-ring friction (interference) fitted CLP is used if the end of your equipments are cylindrical and without sharp edges. 

All O-ring friction fitted CLP comes with: 

(1) x Protector Mounting Base (w/ o-ring pre-installed)

(1) x Polycarbonate Lens

(1) x Protector Cap

Clamped Type (Stock code: C-XX, for LPVOs & Sniper Scopes)

Clamped type CLP is used if the end of your equipment is cylindrical, but sharp edges exist. 

Examples: Common LPVO Scopes, Common High-Powered Scopes. 

All Clamped type CLP comes with:

Important Fitment Guide (General): 

Our designers try to account for limitations imposed by the end user’s specific equipment layout and mounting configuration, though that does not always guarantee success due to circumstances outside our control.

To ensure compatibility with your existing setup, we strongly recommend verifying the outer diameter of the CLP housing before making a purchase—this will help you avoid any clearance issues and eliminate guesswork.

The following example illustrates a common mounting challenge and demonstrates how to resolve interference effectively:

A SureFire M300C is shown mounted on a Picatinny-railed handguard. Due to the design of the light, the flashlight head sits in very close proximity to the rail.

After installing the CLP on the M300C, the increased outer diameter at the end causes interference with the Picatinny rail, preventing proper installation of the complete assembly.

By repositioning the flashlight so that the front end extends beyond the Picatinny rail, the interference is eliminated, allowing the CLP to be used without obstruction.

When mounted on a Picatinny rail section attached to an M-LOK handguard, the CLP clears the handguard easily, thanks to the space provided by this configuration.

Ordering A Custom Unit: How to Measure Your Optic or Flashlight:

1. Measure the outer diameter of your flashlight/optic you intend to mount the lens protector on. Use a calliper and set the unit to millimetres. See photo below.

2. Measure the usable surface length of your flashlight/optic. Measure it in millimetres. See photo below.
